SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2

    Hi,

    Is SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 is released by Microsoft ? If yes please provide me Microsoft link and if not still please provide the link where Microsoft has stated that SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 is not released yet.

    SP1 is the latest service pack for SQL Server 2008 R2.

    SP2 is released for SQL Server 2008 (not R2).

    Not really. I can confirm that the ctp 3 release correctly installs in vista. You can still run basic queries and that the bug I found on 2K5 still exists on 2K12 😉

    I've not even read the new features list so I really don't have anything usefull-ish to say.
