I am just starting to study with the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Administration - real world skills for MCITP Certification and beyond. Has anyone used this book to prepare for the both exam and wish to provide some feedback as to how the book mapped to the exam. I am going to use this link as i work through the book and complete the task. Anyone who wants to go along with me during my studies is welcome. It would not be a bad idea if someone else who is planning to pursue the certification with this book joins in and we share our experience. I have finished the first chapter and am now starting the installation requirements chapter. I will string any problems I encounter to this post. Wish me luck!

I have that book but not have not been consistently reading it 😀 I do like the layout and how it reads so far.
I have taken 70-432 but did not really study for it. Which if I would have studied I probably could have gotten a higher score, but I still passed. The downside I have heard and experienced in my research as well, is that this is the only book printed that offers any study material for the 70-450 exam. Microsoft for some reason is not putting a book out for it. You can get the practice test from MeasureUp.com and all them but there is no book material out.
The advantage you will have from this book is you are actually preparing for both test, not just the one. So you might be able to just sit both test. I was going to do that if I had the money to but decided to just do 70-432 first. I'm shooting to take the 450 test by spring maybe.
Good luck in your studies...
