Hi All
I need to find the cost of SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition license costs for 40 developers. I assume the figure rose from $20 to $50, is that for CAL's or the software itself?
We have 8 VM's hosted on one big machine and 40 developers soe i guess the pricing model will be (Server + CAL's)?
Thanks

AFAIK there's no Server+CAL licensing for Dev edition.
You have to own a legitimate copy of the software for each developer using it.

Yep. That's my understanding too. If you need to have a large number of developers using Microsoft tooling, I'd suggest contacting Microsoft directly and negotiate an MSDN license for your company.
