Hi all, I'm about to install some antivirus software on my MS SQL servers ( MS Forefont) Are there any recommended settings for this?

It's not recommended to install antivirus software in your MSSQL servers. In place of this you can install antivirus on other station and schedule a remote scan of your SQL server.

Should there be continously scanning? Quick scanning or complete scanning? Real-time scanning?Any folders/files to exclude?
I'm only installing a client on the server, can this be done otherwise?

If you install this on your servers, exclude your SQL Server data files, log files, error logs, and backup file folders.
