Sorry but your explanation is incompatible with the answer.

Even if SP 2 is the correct answer, I don't think it is correct, as I'm running a SQL 2005 SP 2 Client on Vista, which cannot display the properties of a job 😉

Oh well... Looks like the scoring key is wrong again. Glad they don't do exam testing:hehe:

Are you testing the server to see how much email can go through on a given day? If you punch in the correct answer, which is SP2 of SQL 2005, it comes up saying the answer is wrong that the correct answer is SP2 for SQL 2005. What's up with that?

There has to be some error. The only answer that's correct is SP2, the explanation says SP2, but the result of choosing SP2 is that you are wrong?!!

If that's the case, then SQL 2005 Sp2 isn't compatible with anything. Half the time I have to jump through hoops just to get SP2 to install.

SQL Server was not fully compatible with VISTA until SP2. See following link:

Simple explanation: this is just a leftover April Fool's QOTD. Just give everyone a point who submits an answer, give me 5000 points for coming up with this glorious solution and call it a day!
Leave the answer explanation as confusing, contradictory and vague as it currently is. We're M$ professionals: contradictory confusion is our language!

The database server you are connected to is not at SP2. Both SSMS and SQL Server engine need to be at SP2.
Hope this helps

Here we go again ....
For Steve and others - might I suggest asking a few users to form a panel to check the questions BEFORE they are published as QOD.
April 3, 2008 at 7:20 am
Points awarded back. It was a simple checking of the wrong box for the correct answer.

Good guess, Tim, but I had enough April Fool's stuff this week already 🙂

Thanks Steve. I just answered and it's working correctly now.
Where I agree on the idea of a review panel, I still learn new things even if the QotD answer or question isn't accurate thanks to the rest of the community.
🙂
Cheers

To Everyone that posted a comment about my QOD:
Thank You!
I appreciate the feedback. My goal of the QOD was to get people to look into the SQL Server 2005/Vista/Office 2007 Compatibility Topic. Mission Accomplished in my eyes.
To those of you who left a scathing comment before the technical issue with the Answer Key was fixed:
