HI. I would like to run the sql server 2005 upgrade advisor but not sure where this can be run. Our sql server 2000's are running on a windows NT OS.(one day soon to be upgraded to win 2003 OS). I have read the system requirements for the sql server 2005 upgrade advisor and it states the the OS must be win2000, win2003 or win xp. Since my desktop runs win 2000, I was wondering if I can run the upgrade advisor from my desktop and reference our sql servers on the nt boxes.
