This thread is more than two years old...I'm sure the people who posted in it have probably figured out by now that SP3 is available, especially since that's been the case for more than a year and a half!

Hi evrey body,
i have an issue..
While applying the SP 3 on SQL 2005,i am unable to locate Dtabase Engine to apply the SP3. But rest of the futures i can see like SQL Server Setup support files etc...
I would if u could help me out in providing the solution ASAP..

I think Microsoft has released Sp4 for 2005...on november 4th ..pls check..

As far as I know they don't delete old topics on this site...if people would stop re-activating them by posting in them it might help stop them coming to everyone's attention, though! 🙂

People might be trying to find some more info about SP4.
I know I have been looking to find comments from anyone who has actually applied SP4 in a production environment.
I saw a couple of posts first about the 'community' version and one mention of the final version but otherwise no mention.
Does anyone know the impact of applying SP4?
