SQL Server 2005 setup failing

    I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 32 bit Standard Edition on 32 bit Windows 2003, but its failing with error "Aborting queue processing as nested installer has completed 1603". I observed .net Framework is not installed on the system.

    Is this the reason of setup failure?

    I don't know if it's the reason for this particular error message, but you do need .Net framework before you install SQL Server. In fact, you need several components for SQL Server 2k5 installation.
