OS - win 2003 Ent.edtion
This server automatically getting restarted, please give me suggestion what are the key factors should be checking?
I had checked log file like application, system and security files.
In Apllication log found one error "Falback certification initailation failed" this is reson for server getting restart automatically.
Thanks

Is it the SQL Service restarting or the whole machine being rebooted?
Is this part of a cluster or a standalone machine?

If the server is getting rebooted, check the System Event Log which should have more details.

I think the error you're getting is "fallback certificate initialization failed"
I've never heard of this error myself, but it seems that it's not uncommon[/url]. It may have something to do with the security settings for your service. I'd look there first.

A server reboot is usually a sign of hardware failure, i.e. overheated processor, power supply, or even something even more simple.
Please review the event log for more information.
