SQL Server 2005 Licensing

    We are in the process of upgrading our SQL Server 2000 instances to 2005, are there any changes to licensing that will require us to re-license our SQL Server instances?

    I think with an upgrade it takes into affect the license option you had chosen for SQL 2000. But here is the Microsoft web link that provides in great detail the license options with SQL 2005
