    hi,

    SQL Server 2005 installations:

    1) sql server 2005 32-bit installation on 64-bit o.s.How it will affect the AWE/PAE?

    What are the drawbacks/benefits i get?

    2) sql server 2005 64-bit installation on 32-bit o.s. How it will affect the AWE/PAE?

    What are the drawbacks/benefits i get?

    3) What is Windows On Windows?

    attached file will help u for 1st question(details sql support for memory)

    2. u cannot install 64 bit SQL version on 32 OS platform.

    3. this is a component which helps 32 bit application to run on 64 bit application.
