I have to install for a class I'm taking SQL Server 2005 Express. However it required SP2 for XP.
I can not install that since I'm using my company computer....
Short of buying a new PC, is there another version?

Do you have a machine at home you could use? If you are not using current versions, on current platforms, then you are at risk of getting divergent results from what is described in class.
Is there a way you could persuade your employer to bring your XP machine current, before XP goes away? Or is there a compelling reason - like your employer has software that won't work on SP2?
If your employer is NOT paying for your class, and does not know you're taking it, then it's possible your employer would frown on you using the machine at work for your class - with dire consequences.

Use Virtual PC (free), and install XP SP2 in that. There's no way around the XP SP2 limitation. Some of the things they need in SQL Server 2005 are in SP2.
