SQL server 2005 DB Migration or Export/Import

    Hi,

    I am new for sql server DB and my current DB is on VM server and I would like to migrate my sql server DB to QA and production server.

    If you show me the step by step guidelines, it will be great as i am new for sql server.

    Currently we have 4-5 tables and we will be using webservice to load the xml file data.

    Appreciated your help!

    Are you familar with backup and restore process?

    Right Click on database >> Tasks >> Backup

    similarly...

    Right Click on database >> Tasks >> Restore
