Scnerio:
We have 2 node (active-passive) Sql Server 2005 cluster running on Windows Server 2003 domain. It is attached to the SAN via fiber channel. It also has about six different databases residing on the SAN.
What We Plan to Do:
We want to transfer this server to a new domain without purchasing or adding new hardware. Installing two new SQL servers in a new domain and moving over the databases is not an option due to financial constraints. We still want to have all the clusters and databases when we switch to a new domain.
Question:
How can we achieve this without requiring additional hardware.
Are there other options available? Please suggest how and the steps to get it done!
