hi there
Is it possible to use SQL server 2005 as SQL server 2000? had a chat with one of the DBA and he mentioned that setting a FLAG in SQL SERVER 2005 will do the job. Is it correct??
Cheers

Changing complevel helps, but may not solve all of your issues. To know whether or not it fits your case, you need to do more tests.

You've got to test. We've begun the upgrade/migration process by creating a SQL 2005 test instance and migrating some databases, logins, jobs, and DTS packages. Now we're testing our applications.
Microsoft has lots to say about upgrading. See this site: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/solutions/upgrade/default.mspx
