Sql Server 2005

    I have downloaded the Express edition to 2005, but  all I have is configuration tools. Is this correct?

    What do I need to do to get access to the 2005 "Enterprise Manager"?

    SQL Server Management Studio

    download SQL 2005 eval version.  When you run the exe file it created 2 folder: Servers and Tools.  Run the setup file in Tool folder to install SQL Server Management Studio.  That is the tool to replace EM and QA in SQL 2000.

    There is kind of a Management Studio for SQL Express but it it a limited version of SQL Server Management Studio.  You need SQL Server Management Studio anyway if you will work with servers later.

    SQL Express does not have a Server Management Studio. You have to organsie for SQL Server 2005 which is a full version with Management Studio
