  Here's what I find in the MS KnowledgeBase on the patch:

  You Receive an Error Message When You Install the MS03-031: Cumulative Security Patch for SQL Server (828251)

  FIX: An access violation occurs in SQL Server 2000 when a high volume of local shared memory connections occur after you install security update MS03-031 (830366)

  "Connection Could Not Be Established" Error Message When You Connect to a Windows NT 4.0-Based Computer That Is Running SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 7.0 (823492)

  FIX: You are prompted for password confirmation after you change a standard SQL Server login (826161)

  Thanks, I read all those articles. The only thing is that if something goes wrong is not easy to remove it. Is why I wanted other opinions.
