I have a cluster SQL Server 2000 whcih has 8GB ram. I am confused by swich /3GB & /PAE. Which the following one should I use in boot.ini ?

1. /3GB
2. /PAE
3. /3GB /PAE

Unless the operating system will be needing a lot of memory (it normally does not) you should go with option 3. And you will of course also need to activate AWE in SQL Server.

If your hardware has "hot-add" memory, I don't think you need either switch - just AWE.
