hi all,
yesterday i installed sql server 2012 in my system, but sql schema compare is missing in my data tools(BIDS).
is there anything i need to check while installing.

BIDS (now SSDT) is for developing BI solutions. You need SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT). Yes, I know they have the same name now
The SSDT for database projects is a seperate download and you can find it here:

whether it requires separate license or its free with sql server

It's a free download, so I guess there's no license fee.
