You are welcome. BTW the query I used was Remi's I just created some tables that would match. I had come to the same conclusions but type much much slower than he does. (Probably think slower as well but I am not going there)

If you have a bad case of the twiches when you get back from vacation. Its your own fault from not getting a laptop so you could stay in the loop.

Don't sell yourself short, I don't even type 100 words/minute. But I do think rather fast .

When you post the ddl and sample data we'll be able to help you. Good luck until then.

You have a pc at home how odd. You sound like my son who probably does type a 100 words per min. But where he gets his real speed as he says is in using keyboard short cuts. After showing me something at the speed of light he sits back and says see dad how easy it is. I just pat him on the back and ask to move so a caveman can get to the keyboard and beat the problem to death with his trusty on club.
Sneaking back home for just a few min to play on the computer does not work. Been there done that and ended up cutting the grass and edging the drive before I could sneak back out.

this will do the job, even in MSAccess I think.
select fname from candidatesmst
where not exists(select * from resumelist where resumelist.candiid= candidatesmst.candiid
)
I think it will work, because it is Standard SQL, but not tested. Good luck
