SQL Profiler hangs when it is paused or stopped

  Hi,

  I am using SQL Server 2000 with SP4 on my laptop using XP with SP2  I am facing a problem

  When I start SQL Profiler, and later when i try to stop or pause the profiler, it does not stop.

  But then i cannot do any other operations (like exiting the sql profiler), it seems to be hanged. (profiler continues to be running though), i have to use the Taskmanager to kill the profiler process

  Any idea why this problem coming and how can i solve it

  Hi,

  I'm getting exactly the same issue running it on Windows Server 2003 R2 sp1.

  Did you manage to resolve this issue?
