Hi
We have a active/active production cluster server A and B and in node A we have a stand alone instance too. Nowadays we are facing a frequent A node failure and resources of that are failed over to B. And the stand alone instance is left down completely.
When we were anyalysing the issue.. server team came up with a query that open SQL handles on the node A is around 50K (below is a peice from memory dump) which could be the cause of node failure. Will the open SQL handles cause the node failure? And also is there any way to find the why the handles are not getting closed ? can someone Please help on this

Did you check the SQL Server Error Logs and Windows Event logs for any messages during the SQL Server failure ?
