I am not sure what happened, but they are gone. Any idea how I can bring them back? Thanks.

If your SQL Server service is running and you don't see counters, try this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;196657
There are other articles that detail other possibilities, but apparently Microsoft is still working out the bugs on their support site.
Sometimes this has to be done with IIS with respect to their counters as well.

For some reason this didn't work. I tried it twice. Do I need to reboot the computer?????

Always try a reboot when somethin doesn't work just right, migh have replace an inuse file and this will not occurr until reboot.

Just rebooted and it still doesn't show :o( And that particular server has this big issue that I am working on and really could have used those counters.
I did the steps again, and nothing happened again. When I go to command prompt, should I go to a specific directory to run those commands? When I run the commands, is there supposed to be a message shown when its done?
Thank you.
