To all,
I have a big problem when I am tyring to use SQL Mail. To start off I am using SQL Server 2000 SP3a. I first set up the MSSQL
service and the AGENT in a domain account. I logged on with this account
and installed the mail client. Then I went into enterprise manager to
configure SQLMail. When I go to support services and click on the
properties for SQLMail the profile pops-up in the drop down and when I go to
test it, it says test successfully. Here is where the problem is - When I
try to go and configure the SQL Server Agent with the mail profile and click
on test it gives me this error:
SQLServerAgent Error: MapiLogonEx Failed due to MAPI error 87: invalid
Parameter
Can anyone tell me why it works for SQLMail and not for the agent?
Thanks in advance,
Belinda
