SQL Mail None Exchange

    Hi,

    I am relatively new to SQL Admin. I have setup SQL Mail before in another job for notifications without any problem but that was in a Windows 2000, Exchange environment.

    I am now in a new job and want to setup alerts. We are using Novell Groupwise 6.5 as the mail system and client.

    I was wondering could someone give me a link or some help in setting this up as I have been checking the net for a few days and nothing I have tried has worked.

    Use xp_smtp_sendmail from http://www.sqldev.net

    If I remember you can use a POP account but this was suggested by my network admin which I ignored and do use exchange.

    You could try running with Blat (www.blat.net).
