SQL MAIL MAPI client

    Hi all

    can anybody help me in this.

    We are using SQL Server 7.0 , and they asked me to install MAPI client tools, for setting up of SQL mail.

    and they are using OUTLOOK 2003.

    So my question will SQL mail work if I install MAPI Client for OUTLOOK 2003.

    Can we send and receive mails.??? and the OS is WIN NT..

    It should work. Not sure about Outlook 2003 on NT, but otherwise install Outlook on the machine and log in as the SQL Server service account to set the profile and test Outlook
