sql mail

    I get the following error when executing xp_sendmail:

    xp_sendmail: failed with mail error 0x80040111

    Ive tried just about everything and have not yet been able to resolve this. What does it mean? And more importantly how do I fix it?

    Hi Ralph,

    Can you post a bit more information about the environment (SQL Server version, Service Pack, mail client, mail server type)? There are an assortment of issues depending on SQL Server version, service pack, client, etc.
