Try to add the server in SQL client network utility. Keep an entry for the server in C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Are you using windows authentication?
Then can you check for SPN/Delegation settings are done correctly?

You may add your own login to map from A to B server in the linked server you created on A, when you login. In the linked server option, choose the server type - SQL Server.

SQL Linked Server Query failed with “Login failed for user , I try every thing, but still no luck.I try different user still logon failed.
I can get the data from B to A server but not from A to B server
Is linked server configured with Windows authentication or SQL Authentication?
