  I'm trying to figure out what kind of SQL 2005 license I need. I bought a shopping cart that uses SQL 2005. I plan on running a web site where I hope people will come and spend money. That's probably an over simplicfication but that's really it. I've spent the better part of the day hearing all sorts of double talk from sales people. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  If it's on/behind  a web site you need a per proc license. Your app might use sql express which is free so check that out.
