Hi All,
One SQL SERVER job has scheduled for morning 3:00 AM , that job is taking 3 to 5 hour to execute. Yesterday C:/ drive space was 28 GB free but today i have checked c:/ having only 13 GB free space.
Anyone , please help me on this and also tell me what are thing is taking more space in C:/ drive because when I restart the server the drive space reached 28 GB.
Thanks

How are you sure the space issue is linked to the job?
What does the job do?
Are your databases stored on the C: drive?

Job has scheduled for updating the data from source to target. For that one we have created SSIS package.
Databse backup we used to take in other drive.

Is it possible tempdb used a lot of space? (is tempdb stored on the c drive?)

Windows folder is occupied 14.9 GB space. I am not able to find , why that folder is taking more space.

You mean due to SSIS package database size is growing on C:?

I am not sure. I think , because of SSIS package C:/drive is growing. I read some article about this one to change the SSIS package temp file location in BLOBTEmpStorage Path and BufferTempStorage path. So Iahve changed the path also but still the issue is remain..

The package itself will not take that much space.
It all depends on what the ssis package is doing exactly.
Without more info, we're just guessing here.
