Hi All,
Two sql server 2005 instances are configured by Active\Active cluster configuration and working fine but every day we dont know what happen i saw the email like"SQL is running on only one node in the cluster. Should be running on two nodes in Active\Active configuration."
Can any one tell me the resone why both nodes not running on diff nodes or why we have to manually move node to preferred node.

1.Check in cluster administrator that on which node each SQL Server is running to verify that you are getting right alerts.
2. If the alerts are true & everyday nodes move on to a single node then check the SQL Server error log & Window's event viewer to see what caused SQL Server to restart?
SQL Server should not be restarting every day in ideal situation.
