    Does anyone know of a good sql book that comes with an interactive cd so I can practice the code along with the reading?

    With the understanding that they teach ANSI SQL rather than T-SQL, the following URL seems to offer similar to what you're looking for...

    thanks jeff, I used w3schools but that seems too basic. I am looking for a book format that has more pages to learn from.
