  I am looking for some assistance.  I am in need to install a named instance on a Windows Server core.

  I have not done a core installation before and wondered what the best approach is.

  Is there a default PowerShell script I could tailor etc?

  Just run setup.exe from the install media, and specify everything as parameters of that. Here's the doc on those parameters:
