SQL Install

    I've recently downloaded MSDE 2000 Release A.

    When trying MSDE 2000 Relese A install through command promt

    I gave like this ::

    c:\setup SAPWD="SaPassWorD123"

    It promts saying that  strong SA password is necessary .. quitting installation.

    The OS I'm using is Win XP Professional..

    Help me out

    I imagine that if you include the characters "password" in your password, then the setup program will construe that as not being a strong password.

    did you not consider trying an alternative password?

    I've tried using very complex passwords such as "sasdjAdidiE594" which are very difficult to remember indeed.

     

    I've a doubt here.

    I should create SA login for the MSDE..no I suppose.
