  I installed MSDN SQL Server enterprise edition now I got production licence, how can I change MSDN to production with out uninstall? Thanks for your help.

  Are you attempting to upgrade The DEvelopers edition to Standard or Enterprise?

  If that's what you are attempting than the instructions in the newsgroup post should get the job done for you...

  Sorry since you posted in the 7,2000 admin section I figured you were talking about 2000.  Try this instead.  Basically it just says that there is a supported upgrade path and once you install another versoin of SQL 2005 as an upgrade to a lower version you need to reapply all service packs etc...
