Anyone have a lead on some good training from the "ground up" around NYC or online? I'm looking for a "crash course" of sorts in learning some beginner-to-advanced SQL skills so that I can prepare for certification and start job-hunting. Any thoughts?
Much appreciated,
George

If I am honest, I am not a fan of the idea of crash courses.
I bought a book for the MCITP certification (431, 443 and 444), downloaded an eval version at home and set a date a couple of months away, then studied like mad at the objectives. Each topic I did the recommended reading on SQL Books online too, thats invaluable.
Got certified in 431 yesterday....
That was the way that suited me, its each to their own for sure but if you are looking for a starter the book & additional resource to me was, as you're after, beginner to advanced and has set me up really well.

What about SQL Exercises[/url]?
You could start with learn exercises
and then follow to the rating ones.
