sql failover using vmware

    Has anyone tried using VM solution for fault tolerant?  I was thinking about using it rather then setting it up in a 2-node cluster with an array in the background.

    Thoughts?

    I've added a vm to an active/active cluster. Had a little trouble getting the raw luns To present to the esx server (they were being used by the sql cluster lready) but, after working out a few environment issues it was running fine. If your vm solution is running well, there shouldn't be any reason you couldn't use it for fault tolerance.
