SQL Error Log storage - Where is the value for the number stored

  • We are working on automating the configuration of SQL after an installation and woudl like to know where the value for the number of SQL Error Logs stored is located.

  • Number off error logs is in the registry

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\MSSQLServer

    in NumErrorlogs
