SQL editor for MSaccess

  • I am looking for an add-on or something for MS-Access 2007 that will make writting queries in a bit easier.

I use SSMS, but I am the admin. The report developers are using MS-Access, and the sql editor in Access is just crap. Hard to read, no color coding, no inteli-sense...just plain crap.

So, I would like to make their lives a bit easier, and mine as well since they come to me with questions, and get them something that would making writting swl in Access a bit easier on the eyes.

    Any recommendations?

  • If you are not going to install SSMS for them, then something like LinqPad might work. It supports multiple languages, including TSQL, and it is a Decent SSMS replacement: it's a text editor / SSMS like tool that is completely portable...supports syntax highlighting and everything; I carry it around on a flash drive.
