SQL Developer
Cleveland Ohio.
Salary range: 80-90K

Company in Cleveland Ohio needs a strong SQL Developer.
Cleveland area candidates ideally, but if you are close and willing to come to Cleveland, and RENT, those candidates will be considered.
They want to get it filled immediately.
Need a really strong SQL Developer that can write complex SQL queries and stored procedures etc. Will focus on optimizing SQL statements. .net experience is
a plus, but just focus on the SQL skills.
General Comments
The SQL Database Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing and writing database solutions to support an e-commerce application, including
database tuning, index tuning, maintenance planning, query optimization, and database design. This position will validate all database design requests and
review all stored procedures created and updated in the application. This position must have a solid understanding of Microsoft's .Net Framework and data
access strategies, solid background in software design concepts, including security, performance, scalability, availability, and demonstrated, real-world
experience developing and/or modifying database code for large-scale software applications. Educational projects are not acceptable alternatives for
employment experience.
Responsibilities:
Functional:
-Provide expertise in the areas of normalization, stored procedures, referential integrity, transact-sql, and schema design to multiple development teams.
-Validate all designs are scalable, maintainable, and compatible with existing and proposed systems.
-Performance tuning of SQL, for security, performance, scalability and availability.
-Participate in code reviews of database changes.
-Develop database code for web-based application.
Experience:
-A minimum of 5 years of Database Programming / Administration experience is required. At least 3 of those years must be within MS SQL.
-Minimum of 3 years in-depth experience and system-level expertise in a high-performance, mission-critical transactional environment.
-Real-life experience with SQL Server 2000, normalization, schema design, referential integrity, triggers, stored procedures.
-Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and designing, tuning, and developing database schemas.
-Experience in the full project life cycle.
-Extensive experience writing SQL in stored procedures.
-Experience in data warehouse is a plus.
Education/Training:
A Bachelors of Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years experience as a database programmer
MCSE and/or MCDBA preferred.
Strong SQL Skills. Can write complex SQL code and SQL optimization skills

Is this full time or not? What are the terms of employment? Any chance of telecommute? And, without giving up the ghost, what discipline is the company... banking, telecom, or ???
