Hi friends,
i have got sql server developer edition which is having different types.
SQL Server Itanium
SQL Server x64
SQL Server x86
I have got Windows Vista Home on my machine. Which type of server do i need to install?
what is the difference between these 3 types?

red are 64 bit
blue is 32 bit.
What is the machine and exact OS version you are installing to?

sorry forget to mention 32 bit.

If you go to the command prompt and type "set processor_architecture" it will tell you what you are running on, but if it is 32 bit you should install x86.

as Ken stated x86 is the version you require
