Hello All
ClientSolv Technologies is looking to fill a full time perm position for SQL DBA for a client in Colo Springs. Perm Salary is $90k with 10% to 15% year end bonus.
Microsoft SQL Server DBA, and will be part of a team of Database Administrators supporting internal databases. The database environment is a mix of SQL Server, DB2, UDB and Oracle. The role will entail day to day tasks including database creation, security, replication, performance tuning, upgrades, capacity planning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and maintaining data integrity. Candidate must have experience reading and writing SQL and T-SQL, as well as data modeling. Candidate must be able to provide customer support to business units and be willing to work directly with application teams during project development. Providing on-call DBA support on a rotational schedule is required.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Two - Four years working experience of MS SQL Server
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work within a team environment.

Hi Asha,
I am Sql Server DBA with experience of 5 years. Currently working with a company in Georgia, previously worked with CSX Transportation, Jacksonville, Fl.
In Addition to Sql2000 currently I am focusing on Sql2005 as our company is heading for migration this December. We are migrating to Sql2005 standard on 2 servers [ HP-DL 380] with Active/Passive database mirroring.
