There is an immediate need for a Database Administrator for a full-time direct-hire position located in Huntsville, AL.
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems for errors, responding to reported issues, performing application administrative functions including but not limited to creating all projects, adding users to the tools, resetting of passwords, modifying work flows, performing upgrades, establishment of standards, installing patches and enhancements, etc. Position requires detailed knowledge of databases in order to generate customized reports.
REQUIREMENTS
-Expertise in metrics reporting, database monitoring, etc.
-Experience working with relational databases such as SQL
-Administrative knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000
-Administrative knowledge of Windows Server 2000
-Strong knowledge of SQL
-Visual Basic and Crystal Reports experience
-Knowledge of VB Scripting a plus
-BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering Required
-U.S. Citizenship required
-Salary up to 65K DOE
