Hi,
I accidentally fall in to DBA role but want to continue in this suggest me which are all areas of SQL i should know in order to proceed in this area.
Kindly suggest online books also in this to improve my knowledge.

This topic has been covered many times before within these forums. I would be inclined to search the site first as you will find plenty of useful resources and answers to similarly asked questions.

I agree, the best skill you can begin to develop immediately is the ability to do a search. Remember, you're not the first person down this path. Actually, it's not really a path so much as an eight-lane super highway. Lots and lots of people are travelling with you. Learn to search out the answers to your questions.

As said above, it's been covered many times here. You can start by reading about all the real world problems we post here and try to find solutions, and learn from the solutions given.
