SQL Database storage location for ADO

  Hello Chaps,

  Could anyone advise me on the correct storage location for a database if it is to be accessed remotely via ADO. The SQL server is currently stored on c:\program files\ microsoft sql and that is where the datbases are stored. Is it necessary to save the database in the root directory ie. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ for ADO access??

  it doesnt matter where the data is stored. what matters is whether SQL server is running and do you have the rights to connect to it.
