Microsoft has announced that Azure Data Studio (ADS) will be retired on February 28, 2026.
While this will work for now. MSFT is migrating to VS Code, which is nearly the same as ADS.

Microsoft has announced that Azure Data Studio (ADS) will be retired on February 28, 2026.
While it ADS works for now, Microsoft is moving to VS Code with the SQL Server Extension. They do have support for database projects.

I don't think this is entirely accurate. If I have understood the official announcement correctly, ADS was already retired on 6th Feb 2025 (a week ago). It will continue to be supported (assuming security patch) until 28th Feb 2026.
The timing of this article is rather odd as we should be pushing people to transition away from ADS before 2026.

How do you get the charting to work at all in ADS? (or is that just laughable?)
I wanted to do a line graph of prices over time, but wow. Is that hard or am I doing something just incredibly stupid?
