SQL Compact DB installation in End user machine.

    Hi,

    I have create a application using SQL Compact DB (sample.sdf).

    The issue is during installation in the End User box, do i need to install the SQL Express editon or SQL Server Compact.

    You shouldn't have to, CompactDB is more of client database product, it's DLLs should be packaged up with you app.

    The Books Online are kind of vague, the talk a lot about devices and a small reference to native apps developed in VC++, but nothing really about anything else..
