  in a clustering environment I had installed SQL 2008 in node 1 and whether should i install it again in node 2 or its enough if i click on "add node to a failover cluster"

  Yes you have to click "Add node to a SQL Server Failover Cluster" when you are installing SQL 2008 on Windows 2008 cluster.
