SQL Cluster linked tables MSAccess

  • if i change the ip address of a SQL2K cluster as outlined here

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q244980&

will i need to relink the tables from MSAccess that is the front end app for a database on the cluster. The clients open up access on aterminal server that is also having its ip adddress changed

  • How do you setup the linked tables to SQL Server in Access? If they are connected to SQL Server via ODBC and the ODBC configuration and SQL Server name havn't be changed, You don't necessary to re-link the tables.

Users shouldn't affected if they are still able to login to the terminal server even though the IP of terminal server has changed.
