I have MSCS setup and running on 2 servers and I would like to setup a SQL Cluster. When running through the install, I get a message stating: "A previous program installation created pending file operations on the Server1 node of the cluster. You must restart it before running setup"
I have rebooted both nodes of the cluster several times, and I cannot get the install to complete.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any ideas for a possible resolution?
thanks

Hi, Corey:
I have had this error occur several times, on non-clustered servers, but having rebooted the nodes, it should have reset.
However, please review the following KB article which has helped me resolve this error in the past. Hope this helps!

See if this also helps:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/planning/server/clustersteps.asp
You can also do a search on my site for "cluster". That is the text box in the upper right corner next to the date. When you then scroll down, you'll many links back to the MS knowledgebase dedicated to clustering questions.
